Borneo Games Selection

CONDITIONS to attend selection:

 1) Must be UBD Student who is INTERESTED to participate in Borneo Games.

 2) Must be COMMITTED - attend all trainings without excuses.

 3) Must be able to spare their 10th-14th November for Borneo Games.

 NOTE: You will have to sacrifice classes and revisions- BE AWARE that the dates are near to exam.

 4) Must be SERIOUS and take this good opportunity to be exposed to table tennis out of Brunei.

 5) You must understand, ONCE SELECTED, NO EXCUSES to withdraw.

Please make a wise choice. Commitment, Trust, Responsibility are important. You attend selection ONLY IF you satisfy ALL conditions above. Once selected, you are NOT ALLOWED to withdraw.

Selection process:

1)   3 Players will be selected from each gender.

Ø  2 will be the primary players and the 3^rd will be the support player.

Ø  The primary players will be given priority to play most of the mathces.

Ø  The support player will play less mathces OR will or will not be considered for selection.

2)   The best 3 players will be selected by the UBDPPC Committee, Advisors and Coach.

Ø  Being ranked top 3 in the selection tournament will be ideal but it does not guarantee selection.

Ø  Determination, diligence, punctuality, motivation, initiatives as well as skills and techniques will be the main criteria in the selection process.

3)   All participants will play on a round robin basis. Best of 3 sets.
