Below is the prospectus.
RIZIQ CUP TABLE TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS 2011

Objectives:
a.      To assist in the development of Table Tennis in Brunei Darussalam;
b.      To make Table Tennis a popular sport amongst the Brunei youth;
c.       To make Table Tennis a national pride amongst the sports in Brunei Darussalam.

2.      Name of the Championship
RIZIQ Cup Table Tennis Championship 2011

3.      Organisation
The Championship is organised by BATTA in cooperation with Riziq Event Management Services and the Department of Youth & Sports, Ministry of Culture, Youth & Sports, Brunei Darussalam.

4.      Rules
The Competition will be played in according to the ITTF rules.

5.      Eligibility of Players
The Competition is open to anyone who holds a Brunei Identity Card.

6.      Dates of the Competition
The competition will be held on 12th, 13th, 14th & 16th December 2011 from 7.00 pm till 10.30 pm.

7.      Venue
The competition will be held in Multi Purpose Hall, Berakas Sports Complex.

8.      The Events are contested as follows:
7.1  Men Single
7.2  Women Single
7.3  Men Double

9.       System of Competition
Initial round will be contested on the round robin basis with two per group proceeding to 2nd Knock Out Stage.  Round Robin will be played best of 3 while the Knock Out Rounds will be played best of 5.

10.  Two or more of the man’s top 16 players ranked in the President Cup 2011 shall not form a double pair.

11.  Seeding
The referee reserves the right to seed players in accordance to the results of the President Cup Championship 2011.

12.  Closing date and Draw
The closing date is on 4th December 2011 and the Draw will be held at 8pm at the Menglait Sports Complex, Gadong on the same day.

13.  Walkover
 If a player or one of a double pair or a double pair fails to report for a match within ten (10) minutes from the time of calling according to the Schedule of Play, the player or double pair is deemed to have conceded a walkover to the opponent.

14.  Entry Fees  
Entry fee for adult players is $30 for single and $50 for double pair; and student Under 21 year of age $10.00 for single and $20 for a double pair.  ONLY PAID UP ENTRIES WILL BE ENTERTAINED AT THE DRAW.

15.  Late Entries
Late entries will be subjected to the approval of the Referee and if approved will be charge twice the amount of the stated entry fee above (14). The decision of the Referee is final.  

16.  System of draw
Teams entered will be draw into groups for the round robin stage.  The two top teams in each group will be drawn again into the 2nd Knock Out Stage.

17.  Protests
A protest must be submitted in writing not later than thirty minutes (30) after the incident together with a deposit of B$50.00. In the event that the protest is upheld, a refund of deposit will be made. The deposit is forfeited if the protest is found to be groundless. The decision of the Organiser shall be final.

18.  The Position of Group
If two or more teams of a particular group score the same number of points (tie), their relative positions shall be determined by the ratio of number matches won divided by the number of matches lost.  In the event of a further tie, the final tie break will be based on the ratio of the number of points won divided by the points lost.  

19.  Competition Schedule
Participants are advised to familiarize the Competition Schedule on the Notice Board in the Menglait Sports Complex or contact the Organisers.

22.   Umpiring
Participants within a particular group will umpire the round robin matches on rotation basis. Umpires will only be provided in the Knock Out Stage.

23.  Finacial Responsibility
Riziq Event Management Services will be solely responsible in all matters pertaining to finance of the RIZIQ Table Tennis Cup 2011 including paying the agreed technical fees to the technical Committee (nominated by BATTA) for providing the technical services in running the competition.
