UBD Ping Pong Club is organising a Table Tennis Open in conjunction with Pesta Konvo 2013 from, 6^th, 11^th, 13^th & 14th October 2013

Entry Fee:

Team Event - $50.00 per team

Single Event - $6.00 per person

TWO CHALLENGES AWAIT YOU!

Team Event - 10 Gold Medals, 10 Silver Medals and 10 Bronze Medals.

Single Event (Only open to IPT) - 2 Gold Medal, 2 Silver Medal, 4 Bronze Medals.

The Draw will be held on Wednesday, 2^th October 2013, 4pm. (with UBDPPC committee members present)

The result of the draw and detailed tournament schedule are final, which will be made available on ubdppc.blogspot.com by 4^th October 2013 6pm.

FORMAT OF THE COMPETITION
Unisex Team Event Players can choose to form a team of all male players, or all female players, or a mixture of male and female players.
1	Minimum of 3 players and maximum of 5 players in a team.
2	1st Stage (Round Robin / Group Stage)
	2nd Stage (Knock-Out - Bottom Two teams in each group will play in the Novice Division & the top Two teams in each group will play in the Premier Division)

3	Matches are based on Best of 5 Games – Single, Single, Double, Single, Single
4	Games are based on Best of 5 sets for all stages.

Single Event Male and female players will get to compete with each other.
1	1st Stage (Round Robin)
	2nd Stage (Knock Out - Players from the bottom half of each group will play in the Novice Division & Players from the top half of each group will play in the Premier Division)
2	Games are based on Best of 5 sets
	*Note: Umpiring during the earlier stage will be done by the players themselves (turn taking). Umpires will be provided in the later stages of the tournament.*

Rules:
1	International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF).
2	The service rule will be relaxed but hidden serves are not allowed.
3	Audience must remain quiet when a point is being played during a game.
	Audience must not harass the competitors during a game. Players must show proper behaviours during a game.
4	You would be asked to leave the hall if the two rules above are violated.
